ISAA State Field Championship

For those thinking of doing the IAA State Field Championship next weekend, Aug 19-20, I found this very helpful explaining how the tournament is set up.

IAA State does not have an Animal Round.

Scoring: Center black and X =5, white ring = 4, outer black ring = 3.

Keep track of your X count. They will be used for tie breakers. An arrow needs only to touch the line to score the next highest value.

Hunter
Scoring: Center white and X =5, black ring to thin white line = 4, outer black ring = 3. Keep track of your X count. They will count for tie breakers. An arrow need only to touch the line to score the next highest value

Animal
For completeness, this is a sample of an Animal Round Target. They are all paper 2-D representations. This type target will NOT be at IAA State.
