The Kane County Forest Preserve District has opened an outdoor archery facility in the Mill Creek Greenway Forest Preserve in Elburn.
This venue has an elevated range, a regular range, and a crossbow range. One of the lanes in the crossbow range is indicated for accessible use. There is a picnic shelter.
It’s a public range. Use requires a daily or annual permit.
These are photos from the opening day even with 400 people out to try archery with the Forest Preserve staff, 4-H, and scouts helping folks who are excited about archery!
